The Overlord Show
I love ordering Minions about, how do I take it to the next level?
Overlord: Dark Legend is for the Wii, the whole Wii and nothing but the Wii. This means you'll be able to lead a bunch of fierce Minions into battle like a deranged conductor, swiping evilly through the air. Watch your vase collection.
I thought Wii games were all about cute cartoon characters playing tennis and the like?
Well think again. In Overlord: Dark Legend you follow the story of a young Overlord gathering an army of Minions to hack his way through a twisted fairy tale world full of wicked witches, gingerbread men and a strange girl called L'il Red.
Which fairy tale creatures will l be able to mangle?
You can send your little bags of violence to lay waste to rock giants, gnomes, halflings, elves, dwarves, peasants and many more well-known childhood fairytale creatures. We ate a lot of cheese before we went to bed to dream up the weirdest things for your stabbing pleasure.
Please tell me I'll be able to shoot fireballs?
You can direct various magic spells straight into your enemy's face or send your Minions into battle with a swoop of the Wii Remote using our patented "point 'n' kill" game system.
Who have I got under my thumb of tyranny?
Minions come in four fantastic flavours: Brown, Red, Green and Blue. Browns are brutal brawlers that solve their problems with teeth and fists. Reds are the surly artillery who love to play catch, as long as it's with fireballs. Greens are the stealthy assassins. Silent and deadly, like a fart on legs. Blues are no use in a fight but can resurrect fellow Minions who've tried to stop a sword with their face.
What other kind of evil trickery will I be able to perform?
Well, fancy sending a Minion on a kamikaze mission? Just pluck an individual Minion from your horde using the remote, hold him by the neck and shake him vigorously! This will cause the creepy creature to turn into a Minion missile which can be guided straight at your enemies with hilarious and fatal consequences for all concerned.
